SJA Winter 2017/2018 Season Starts Nov 27th!

Registration Now Open!

SJA Water Polo is excited to announce our Winter 2017 Season!  Winter is a bigger season for Water Polo.  Our High School players return (congratulations to all on great seasons!).   We have more pool time, both at Leland HS and Gunderson HS for our 18U teams.  And, more practice times and game opportunities for all age groups!

Winter Season runs from the week of Nov 27 to the week of Feb 12.

Boys and Girls Age Group practices start week of November 27.  We will not hold practices Thanksgiving Thursday/Friday/Saturday, or the weeks of Dec 22 and Dec 29 (Holiday Break).

For Winter, are offering 18U Girls and Boys, 16U Girls and Boys, 12U+14U Girls and Boys (advanced) and 12U (beginner) +10U CoEd.  Our developing teams will take part in local games.  Our advanced groups will have games either in the South Bay or East Bay, as well as 1-2 opportunities for travel tournaments.  Game/Tourney schedules will be posted soon!  You can expect 3-4 weekend tourneys (typically Sundays, sometimes Saturdays).

As a reminder, we welcome players of all levels, from beginner to competitive.  Our coaches will group players in practices and tourneys/games to ensure the best learning and development opportunities.  Please sign up based on your 2018 USA Water Polo age (your child’s age as of 8/1/2018).   If your age group player is a beginner, or relatively new to water polo, please opt for 10U+12U beginner.  All 13 and 14s sign up for advanced groups.  Our coaches will segment practices for skills work for less experienced players.

Registration is now open! PLEASE register early!  Our club is growing quickly and we may run out of room in certain age groups!  Please click on “how to register” to complete your registration.  If you have any questions, please send us an email via our contact form.

See you on the pool deck this winter!  Go SJA!

    Hi:

My daughter Rhona Haworth signed up for the winter session on Sunday. As a family we have realized she is not going to be able to participate. How do we get our refund?

    Hello,
I’m interested in having my daughter join your program. I see we are late for registration, but wondering if you might have space in your 12 year old program for a novice. If you do have room and there is a chance she could check out your practice tomorrow to take a look that would be appreciated.

Got something to say?
