SJA Water Polo is excited to announce our Fall 2022 Season! Practices start Saturday, August 27th for our 10u group and Monday, August 29th for our 12’s and 14’s. The fall season is all about our age group athletes! The fall season is a great time for our age group athletes to learn the game as well as to continue to work on improving their skills, building strong team chemistry/camaraderie, and most importantly, having fun! This fall season our 14s and 12s will have two water polo practices per week and one conditioning practice per week. The conditioning practices are a great way for our athletes to get faster and become stronger swimmers.
Parent Meeting:
We will have a parent meeting on Friday, August 26th at 7 pm at Gunderson High School to give a brief layout of the season and to answer any questions anyone may have
SEASON:
Fall Season runs from August 27th to November 7th for 14/12u’s and November 13 for 10u. Please sign up in the age group that matches your child’s “USA Water Polo age”: your age as of August 1, 2022.
PRACTICE SCHEDULES:
Still to be finalized. Tentative times and locations:
- 10U: 1-2 pm at Leland HS: Saturday and Sunday
- 12U & 14U Girls: Monday, Wednesday, 7 – 8:45 PM at Gunderson HS, Tuesday 7:15-9 PM at Gunderson HS
- 12U & 14U Boys: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7-8:45 pm at Gunderson High School
- *Wednesdays will be conditioning only days for 12’s and 14’s Boys and Girls
Open Pool!
We are excited to announce we will be holding open pools for our 12u and 14u athletes who want some extra pool time to work on individual skills, or scrimmage if numbers allow. We know how hard it is to find extra pool space for our athletes to get a little extra work in, or fine-tune individual skills and techniques. We are offering open pool space from 3-4 pm every Saturday at Leland High School.

Cost:
- 10U Mixed: $300
- 12U&14U Boys and Girls: $500

Online registration HERE. Please register by Friday, August 26th. Note: when you register, please ensure you also sign up for or have a current USA Water Polo Membership. Your athlete must have an updated and current USA Water Polo Membership in order to practice or play any games.
