SJA Winter 2018-2019 Season is here!

Registration Now Open!

SJA Water Polo is excited to announce our Winter 2018-2019 Season!  Winter Season runs from the week of November 26, 2018 to the week of February 18, 2019.

Winter polo is about competing in some great tournaments, including some travel tourneys for our Comp teams.  And of course, Winter season is, as always, open to players at ALL levels … from beginner to advanced.

For Winter, we will start the week of November 26 with evaluation sessions and practices.   Our coaches will get to know all players and assess their skills. We will build Comp teams at each age group (10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U) for both boys and girls.  Our Comp teams will participate in both a local tournament series and travel tournament play — Holiday Cup Dec 15-16 in Irvine and Kap7, Feb 9-10 in Irvine.  We will also field Development teams at all age groups for beginners and/or players with limited experience.  Game for Development players will be played locally.

HOW TO REGISTER:

Exciting news! We are rolling out our NEW online registration system! With our new system, powered by TeamSnap, you can register multiple family members and have all of your information SAVED for future seasons! (hurray!).  You can also now pay by credit card. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email. We will then, soon after, roster you on the appropriate TeamSnap page, where you will receive ongoing information and communication.

Please register for your age group.  Please base this on your 2019 USA Water Polo age, which is determined by your player’s age on 8/1/2019. Please choose either Comp or Development based on your experience and skill.  If you aren’t sure, opt for Development. Our coaches will evaluate and make shifts as they see fit.

• You need to fill out a separate form for each player if you want to register.

• Please have the following information handy to move quickly through the registration:

• Player’s USA Water Polo Membership #.  Important! Please go here to to sign up or renew for your 2019 annual membership.  If you are playing comp, we require Gold membership.  For Development, you can select either Gold or Silver.  Please also upload a player photo to your account, and please complete the birth verification process.  This is critical so your player can participate in tournaments!

• If you are a beginner or want to trial with the club, you can sign up for a 2-week free trial membership.  This is required to practice with SJA. After 2 weeks, you can opt to register for a 2019 membership.

• Medical Insurance Info, Dental and Doctor Contact information, allergy or medical condition information for player

• Family contact information

2.     Payment: Please pay via the reg form.

• Winter fees for Competitive (12U, 14U, 16U and 18U boys and girls) is $550.   Development (10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U Boys and Girls) is $400.

 

YOUR ATHLETE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PRACTICE UNTIL REGISTERED, WITH MEDICAL FORM AND PAYMENT IN FULL.
