SJA 2021 Spring Season

Hello Bay Area Water Polo Community,

We recently wrapped up the Winter 2021 Season and I want to give a huge thank you to all the SJA Club members for making it such a successful season. The 2021 Spring Season registration is now open and we are excited to keep the momentum going. There has been significant improvement among all the teams, especially now the county is starting to loosen on its restrictions.

Logistically, SJA 2021 Spring Season will start on Monday, March 1st, 2021, and will run until Sunday, April. 18th, 2021. The schedule has a new look, allowing for earlier starts and more practice time for the athletes.

Most High School Athletes will be busy with their respective seasons. Therefore this season is dedicated to those not on high school teams, mainly our younger athletes.

For those HS Age athletes not participating in a school program, we welcome you to register. There are a number of you and we will have the coaching available to provide effective practices. Register under your respective genders.

SVCAL athletes, as of now, your season doesn’t begin until April 5th. We have a 5-week season option for you in order to prep for your season. Dates: March 1st – April 4th, 2021.

*NEW* The county has allowed players to play both HS and Club Water Polo. As such, SJA is hosting weekly scrimmages on Sundays for the HS Boys. All are welcome, regardless of experience or “home” club.

Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 6:45 – 8:45pm
Sunday: 5:00 – 7:00pm

All Girls_1st Practice 3/1/21_$375

Tuesday & Friday: 6:45 – 8:45pm
Wednesday: 7:45-9:15pm
Saturday:  5:00 – 7:00pm

Swimmer, Rent a Lane_1st Practice 3/6/21

 Price: 1day/wk-$45, 2days/wk-$75
   Saturday: 6:00 – 7:00pm
   Sunday: 6:00 – 7:00pm

HS Boys Sunday Scrimmages Only_1st Practice 3/1/21_$100

Sunday: 5:00 – 7:00pm

SCVAL High School Athletes 5-wk Program_ $270

Same schedule as respective gender

 

Club Spring Head to Head:

Stanford: 4hrs pool, 1.5hrs online dryland_~$1500 for 8wks_~$34/hr

Express: ~3hrs pool (weekend only), 1.75hrs Dryland_$175 for 5wks_~$7.37/hr

SJA: 7.25hrs pool, .75hrs Dryland_$375 for 7wks_~$6.70/hr
